Newbie questions

Hi

My client has an existing domain setup in Exchange 2003 for company
'abc'. They have now acquired a new company 'def'. All they want to do
is simply setup a series of emails for the new compamy, namely

user1@def.com
user2@def.com
....
user9@def.com
(These same users are already setup as domain users in company abc. So
users would send/receive emails as user1@abc.com or user1@def.com

also

generic@def.com -- this has access to a Public folder that only
certain users have access to.

Now, I can setup Outlook for each individual user as a new email
account to connect to the ISP, but I think it is probably better going
via Exchange as this is how the public folder would be accessed.
However, I have no idea what I need to do in Exchange and I dont want
to stuff up the existing setup.

Any pointers in the right direction would be most welcome.

Thanks
